OK, you're not gonna believe this one, but when going to an airport be careful which T Shirt you choose to wear!
In May 2008 Brad Jayakody was stopped by security at Heathrow's terminal 5 as he went through a pre-flight security check. He was told that he was not allowed through because of his t-shirt!
He was told that he could not go through unless he changed his t-shirt.
BBA stated "...If a T-shirt is offensive or has something like a bomb on the front of it, a passenger might be asked to remove it or cover it up."
So, just what was Brad wearing that was so offensive to the security guard? His favorite Transformers T-Shirt with a large image of Optimus Prime holding a GUN.
Brad had to strip off his Transformers t shirt and change it right there at the gate in front of everybody!
But it gets worse; after Brad had changed his t-shirt the security guard told him that if he put the Transformers T Shirt back on he would be arrested!!! Jeez, look out - 1984 here we come!
Now everybody get your Transformers T shirt and go to the airport!
